You're confirming that you signed the document of your own free will. Common for deeds, POAs, and contracts. You don't have to sign in front of me — just acknowledge that you did sign it.
Jurat
You're swearing under oath that the contents of the document are true. Used for affidavits and sworn statements. You must sign in my presence and take an oath or affirmation.
